Wholesale channel · CSV import

Bring your legacy stockist list over.

Most brands come to SyncaMap with an existing list of retailers already on a spreadsheet or in another locator app. Upload a CSV once, SyncaMap geocodes and imports every row, and future orders sync on top of the imported baseline.

Who this channel serves

Every historical retailer you already have on file.

How SyncaMap identifies it

None: this is a bulk import, used once to backfill or to migrate.

Setup, in three steps

  1. 01

    Export from your current locator

Storemapper, Stockist, and Bold all support CSV export. Any spreadsheet with retailer name, address, and optional metadata works.

  2. 02

    Upload and preview

SyncaMap geocodes each row, flags addresses that need review, and previews the map before you commit the import.

  3. 03

    Let future orders take over

Turn on your Shopify sync rules so that new orders update or add to the imported baseline. No more manual maintenance.

Why this channel is different

CSV import is the only channel that doesn't require a Shopify order. It's the migration on-ramp, not the ongoing sync.

Migrating from Storemapper, Stockist, or Bold?

CSV import on SyncaMap, answered.

What columns does the CSV need?

At minimum: retailer name and a full address (street, city, state, country). Optional fields include phone, hours, categories, tags, and website.

What happens if a CSV row and a Shopify order match?

SyncaMap merges them into a single pin using name plus address. You won't get duplicates when both sources cover the same retailer.

How many rows can I import?

Standard plans handle several thousand rows in one upload. If you have more, split by region or contact us and we'll walk you through it.

Can I re-import to update?

Yes. Re-imports match on address and update fields you provide, without wiping the pins that came from Shopify orders.
