Shopify wholesale in 2026 is no longer one app or one channel. It's a stack. Here's the honest cut of what most of our stockists actually run, and where SyncaMap fits.
The channels layer
- Faire, for discovery of new indie retailers.
- Airgoods, especially for food and beverage.
- Shopify Collective, for brand-to-brand marketplace orders.
- Bulletin and Abound, for regional and independent retail.
- Direct wholesale, invoiced through Shopify or Shopify B2B.
The order-management layer
Most brands still run wholesale orders through Shopify, either as tagged retail orders (for small operations) or on Shopify B2B (companies, catalogs, price lists on Plus). Both flows are readable by SyncaMap.
The storefront layer
Your Find Us page lives on Shopify and needs to reflect the whole wholesale channel stack above. A single MapLibre block, powered by tag-based sync rules, is the cleanest way to keep it honest.

The retention layer
Auto-expiry, retailer confirmation emails, and channel-aware filters keep the map honest as accounts churn. This is where most 'store locator' apps stop and wholesale-focused tools begin.
